Franklin's African Cousin Died

About this video

In this heartbreaking 21st episode of Season 2 of GTA 5 Real Life Mod Remastered, Franklin faces one of the toughest moments of his life. After finally escaping the dangers of prison and dodging multiple assassination attempts, he rushes to Ocean Hospital with a heavy heart to check on his African cousin, Nelson Kwandela, who was recently involved in a serious car crash. This moment has been weighing heavily on Franklin, who has been unable to visit Nelson due to his imprisonment and constant danger surrounding him.

As Franklin arrives at the hospital with Mia and his brother Johnson by his side, a heavy silence fills the air. The usually lively Ocean Hospital feels like an entirely different place—a place of sorrow and lost hope. Franklin, Mia, and Johnson cling to the hope that Nelson will pull through, that he’ll wake up and tell them it’s all going to be okay. But their worst fears become reality when the doctor delivers the devastating news: Nelson Kwandela has passed away.

Grief washes over the room as Franklin struggles to process the loss of his cousin, who had traveled all the way from South Africa to support him during his darkest days. Nelson was more than family; he was a symbol of hope and strength, a reminder that Franklin had people who loved him no matter the distance. Mia and Johnson are equally heartbroken, knowing how much Nelson meant to Franklin and the entire family. This tragic moment leaves a gaping hole in their hearts, and the loss feels almost too heavy to bear.
